Pic of the Day - Ships in Line
PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 1, 2010) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) performs tactical maneuvering exercises with the guided-missile frigates USS Rentz (FFG 46) and USS McCluskey (FFG 41); the guided-missile destroyers USS Stockdale (DDG 106) and USS Gridley (DDG 101); and the guided-missile cruisers USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) and USS Bunker Hill (CG 52). Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are underway conducting local operations off the coast of Southern California.
